~*~ Widower ~*~ Sadness ~*~ Thought ~*~
I've been a little lax about getting my cards posted here daily, but I've been busy trying to get my NaNoWriMo project written. I was ahead of the game by quite a lot the first few days and now I'm pretty much even. Which I suppose is better than falling behind. I hope to do a big jump over the weekend when I have more time to devote to creativity. Today's focal card is Sadness. Interestingly, according to Esther's book, the 3rd card, Thought - is Sadness' partner card. It can indicate that we are sad, or longing and yearning for something that we don't have in our life. Usually, it indicates we are longing for the card she is facing. The Widower in this case. Widower can symbolize independence and individual strength born out of hardship. He's tired of being alone and said and is headed for a change that he is ready for. Sadness and Widower are checking each other out. :) Thought is speaking of contemplation and slow deliberation. It tells us not to be in a hurry, just put one foot in front of the other and to think things through before we act. Interesting trio of cards here. The card hidden from view is Ecclesiastic.
